As we continue to expand our service offerings and client base, we are seeking a Solutions Principal to lead the design, development, and delivery of winning IT solutions that meet and exceed market demands.

Role Overview: The Solutions Principal is a senior leader responsible for driving the success of our business by developing and delivering winning solutions. This role involves providing comprehensive support across the entire sales and solution lifecycle, from pre-sales engineering through to proposal submission. The primary measurement of success for this role will be the ability to craft solutions that win business and drive growth for the organization. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic insight, ensuring that our solutions are not only technically sound but also commercially compelling and aligned with client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Pre-Sales Engineering Support:
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify and qualify new business opportunities with a focus on winning.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their business challenges and objectives.
  • Design and deliver impactful solution demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts that resonate with clients and differentiate us from competitors.

Winning Requirements Analysis:
  • Collaborate with clients to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements with a focus on crafting solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Synthesize client requirements into actionable solution designs that are not only viable but also have a high likelihood of winning.
  • Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure solution viability and client satisfaction.

End-to-End Solution Development:
  • Architect and oversee the development of complex IT solutions that integrate multiple technologies and services, with a strong emphasis on creating winning proposals.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine solutions based on evolving technology trends, client feedback, and competitive analysis.

Pricing Strategy and Proposal Leadership:
  • Develop and refine pricing models that are both competitive and profitable, ensuring a winning edge in the market.
  • Lead the creation of compelling, tailored proposals that clearly articulate the value of our solutions and align with client expectations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposals are technically sound, strategically positioned, and delivered on time, with the primary goal of winning the business.

Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Act as a mentor and leader within the organization, guiding junior team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, all with a focus on winning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of complex solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions from proposal to implementation, maintaining accountability for solution success and client satisfaction.

Market and Technology Leadership:
  • Serve as a thought leader within the organization, providing insights into emerging technology trends and their potential impact on our service offerings, with an eye on winning in the marketplace.
  • Drive innovation by identifying new service opportunities and leading the development of cutting-edge solutions that meet market demands and secure new business.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client engagements, building our reputation as a leader in managed IT services.

Consultative Client Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor on technology strategy and implementation, with a focus on closing deals.
  • Lead client workshops, strategy sessions, and presentations, effectively communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through ongoing engagement and support, positioning the organization as a long-term partner in their success, and ensuring repeat business.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  • Lead initiatives to continuously improve solution development processes, tools, and methodologies with a focus on increasing win rates.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our service offerings and internal capabilities, driving efficiency, effectiveness, and success in securing new business.
  • Stay current on industry standards, certifications, and best practices, ensuring our solutions remain competitive, compliant, and winning.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior solutions architecture or principal role, with a focus on IT managed services.
  • Seeking a data engineering evangelist with experience architecting data solutions.
  • Looking for someone who excels with data governance, data protection, data warehousing, and utilizing tools such as Looker and Snowflake.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), cybersecurity, data management, and digital transformation technologies.
  • Understands the current market and work to develop the practice.
  • Interest and understanding of AI technology with a potential interest in becoming certified.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of developing winning solutions that drive business growth.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and guiding teams to success.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and winning strategies.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and internal meetings.
