The Team:
S&P Global Managed Data Services aims to provide the highest level of accuracy, visibility, and efficiency to our clients who work within the Private Capital Markets. The Associate for Managed Data Services works within a team environment to help process PCM financial data. The associate/analyst will extract relevant capital structure information and portfolio performance details from financial documents and implement this data into a variety of portfolio analysis offerings. These offerings include iLEVEL, QVAL, and iVAL.

Responsibilities and Impact:
  • Drive successful implementations of the S&P Global Private Capital Markets platform within market-leading private capital firms
  • Engage in deep dialog and discovery with clients to understand their current business processes
  • Multi-task, handling multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Opportunity to work hand in hand with clients and S&P Global, Private Capital Markets team members from multiple departments to design, iterate and agree on new, transformed business processes
  • Lead project team members to implement new business processes via the S&P Global, Private Capital Markets platform
  • Deliver 'best-in-class' solutions that exceed client expectations
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $43,740.00 to $75,258.75. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Possess the highest ethical standards and a strong work ethic, willing to go the extra mile with a hands-on attitude
  • Ability to engage with team confidently and authoritatively
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented; able to multi-task; strong organizational skills and ability to document processes
  • Conceptual understanding of the SaaS business model
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA or BS Degree; Business, Accounting or Finance
  • A familiarity with Venture Capital and/or Private Equity companies
  • Exposure to back/middle office operations within a private capital firm
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Indexing, offset matching
  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, reporting and analysis
  • Experience working with financial accounting statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, & Statement of Cash Flows) and Capitalization Tables.
