Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect with a customer-focused approach and strong technical depth in cloud platform architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing AWS cloud solutions, collaborating with development teams to deploy applications, and managing AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability. You will also work with operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and contribute to the design and automation of custom deployment pipelines. This position offers the opportunity to engage with global clients and work on modernized cloud migration projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation and DevOps Pipelines: Automate solutions for repeatable problems and transform manual processes into DevOps automated pipelines using AWS native services.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop test plans and test cases to ensure application/database readiness post-migration.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development and application teams to ensure business functionality, SLAs, and compliance standards are met.
  • Innovative Solutions: Develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology challenges, focusing on operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and scale AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and resolving performance, scaling, and availability issues.
  • Cloud Resource Provisioning: Assist in provisioning AWS resources and configuring services for clients.
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to ensure AWS platform compliance with security standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Keep up to date with AWS features, market trends, and competitive insights to advocate for new solutions and maintain technical expertise.
  • Cloud Migration and POCs: Lead pilot migration projects and proof of concepts (POCs) to modernize cloud environments.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, MCA, or related field.
  • Experience: 9-12 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure delivery, designing, and implementing solutions with proficiency in automation and DevOps tools.
  • AWS Expertise: Deep subject matter expertise in AWS services such as AWS DevOps, AWS CloudFormation, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53, and RDS.
  • Programming: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or similar.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Extensive experience with DevOps scripting (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) for automating the build and deployment of AWS resources.
  • CI/CD Tools: Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar.
  • Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks (e.g., Scrum) and the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Kubernetes: Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
