Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and delivery of complex payment transformation projects.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with product, technology, operations, compliance, and external vendors to define scope, milestones, risks, and success criteria.
- Drive implementation of modern payment solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, risk logs, and executive dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring optimal delivery within scope and quality parameters.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Master s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in project/program management with at least 2+ years in the payments domain.
- Deep knowledge of payment systems, clearing and settlement (like ACH, SWIFT, RTP, FedNow, ISO 20022).
- Proven experience leading digital transformation and core system modernization efforts.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in financial services.
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, and Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with financial institutions, payment processors, or fintechs.
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and cloud-native payment architectures.
- Familiarity with customer onboarding, fraud prevention, and KYC/AML integration in payment systems.
