Position: PeopleSoft Test Manager (W2 Only)

Location : Phoenix Arizona / Pleasanton CA / Plano TX (Onsite)

Experience: 10+ Years

Preferred: W2 or 1099

JD:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PeopleSoft Testing Manager to lead the quality assurance and testing efforts for our PeopleSoft applications. This individual will oversee test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting for upgrades, patches, and new implementations across various PeopleSoft modules such as HCM, FSCM, Campus Solutions, and others. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies and PeopleSoft architecture, along with proven leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage end-to-end testing strategies for PeopleSoft applications.

Lead a team of testers (onshore and/or offshore) in manual and automated test execution.

Coordinate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure test coverage.

Oversee the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, scripts, and defect logs.

Ensure testing timelines are aligned with project milestones and go-live readiness.

Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and act as a liaison with business stakeholders.

Utilize tools such as PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), HP ALM, JIRA, or other relevant tools.

Report testing progress and metrics to senior leadership.

Ensure compliance with organizational QA standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

7+ years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

5+ years working specifically with PeopleSoft (HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions).

Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) or other automated testing tools.

Strong knowledge of SDLC, test methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), and QA best practices.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
