Full Stack Java Developer

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Java for back-end and modern front-end technologies.
• API Management: Implement and manage API solutions using APIGEE, ensuring secure and efficient API integrations.
• Front-End Development: Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of both back-end and front-end components to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the full stack, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and application configurations.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering.

Qualifications

Required

• 7+ years related experience in SQL, NoSQL DB, API, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript (TypeScript), Python, Java and Agile Software Development Methodology.
• Experience implementing API solutions.
• Experience in frontend frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS or Vue with in-depth knowledge on various JavaScript tools such as Webpack, Rollup etc.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

• Prior healthcare industry experience
• Health Plan and EDI X12 knowledge
• Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
• Excellent Written and Communication Skills
• Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
