Job Details



You will be responsible for managing all facets of email campaign management, including strategy planning, technical development, proofing, deployment, and performance measurement. You will partner with both internal and external teams to ensure the successful execution of email campaigns and drive growth across acquisition programs.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Campaign Management: Lead all aspects of email campaign management, including strategy development, technical setup, proofing, deployment, and performance analysis.

  • Agency Oversight: Oversee external agency priorities, ensuring that deliverables align with campaign requirements.

  • Consultation & Best Practices: Provide expert advice and recommendations on email marketing best practices to business stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with digital marketing, creative services, marketing analytics, and marketing operations teams to create and document email marketing programs and project plans.

  • Creative Development: Partner with creative services to develop compelling campaign concepts and ensure the email channel's needs are represented, with a focus on growth and acquisition.

  • Program Identification: Identify and prioritize new programs and opportunities that align with an omni-channel strategy.

  • Production Management: Manage email production processes, ensuring accuracy and relevance of all email elements. Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to verify functionality across various email clients.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess initiatives against established goals.

  • Deliverability & Reputation: Ensure high deliverability rates and maintain a strong account reputation to guarantee inbox delivery.

  • Strategy Development: Develop and manage new email marketing strategies and tactics, including automation. Optimize programs to enhance click-through rates, leads, sales, and conversions.

  • Journey Design: Lead the design and expansion of email journeys that support sales and engagement goals. Collaborate with other channel owners to develop a comprehensive omni-channel marketing strategy.

  • Email Deliverability Management: Oversee email deliverability and IP health to ensure optimal inbox delivery.

  • Reporting & Insights: Provide regular performance reports and insights to executive stakeholders.

  • Experimentation & Testing: Manage email experimentation, from hypothesis development to test execution and analysis. Conduct extensive testing on various aspects of email marketing to establish best practices.

  • Reporting Solutions: Consult with analytics teams to identify reporting needs, research data sources, and propose effective reporting solutions.

  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with the IT Development team to address technical issues and develop new functionalities that support email program growth.

  • Cross-Channel Integration: Identify opportunities for integrating email with other marketing channels, both online and offline. Collaborate on the design, implementation, and optimization of cross-channel campaigns.

  • Expansion into New Channels: Lead initiatives to explore and implement additional one-to-one communication channels, such as SMS programs.

  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on digital marketing best practices, industry standards, and CAN-SPAM compliance, applying this knowledge to campaign execution and seeking process improvements.

  • Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, helping to develop their skills in email campaign development and execution.


Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in digital marketing or email marketing, with at least five (5) years of hands-on experience in writing campaign workflows using Adobe Campaign Classic.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of email and compliance best practices. Expert-level understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email development.

  • Program Management: Proven experience in leading and optimizing email marketing programs throughout the marketing lifecycle.

  • Experimentation: Demonstrated experience in managing email experimentation, including the development, execution, and measurement of A/B and multivariate tests.

  • Cross-Channel Integration: Experience integrating email programs with direct channels such as direct mail, search, display, and social media.

  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with a process-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
