Project Controls & Procure Consultant
Summary
The Project Controls & Procure Consultant will partner with clients to evaluate their program management processes and then implement technology solutions that streamline workflows, automate tasks, and improve efficiency. This role supports project execution by integrating tools for enhanced cost management, scheduling, and process performance, while driving innovation to maximize project efficiency and profitability. This consultant will also work with vendors to ensure technology solutions align with their business objectives.
Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain project management systems, ensuring seamless data integration.
  • Automate workflows and implement process improvements using technology.
  • Evaluate and deploy tools to enhance project controls and decision-making.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure system functionality and user adoption.
  • Provide training and support to maximize technology utilization.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and workflow diagrams.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Lead requirements gathering and oversee offshore team task distribution.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of project controls best practices and industry standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering techniques for project management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Experience with Agile teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related) with 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate s Degree with 9 years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience.


This is a 12-Month Contract-to-Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
