Job Description:
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex Windows-based systems, including servers, clusters, and virtualized environments.
  • Provide expert-level technical support for escalated incidents and complex service requests, collaborating closely with Level 1 and Level 2 teams.
  • Build and deploy Virtualization platforms (VDI/ Vmware Servers with hands on OEM hardware support).
  • Analyze and resolve critical system and application issues, ensuring high availability and performance of the windows infrastructure.
  • Architect and manage Active Directory and related services, including integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Develop and implement best practices, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the Windows environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
  • Design & implement disaster recovery & business continuity solutions for Windows environments.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) to improve efficiency and manual intervention.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 System Administrators, advancing their professional growth.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices in Windows system administration.
  • Handle escalations, work closely with customers and provide RCA for the issues within SLA.
  • Review performance of the team and share details with customers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as Windows System Administrator at Level 2 or Level 3.
  • In-depth expertise in Windows Server operating system (e.g., 2016, 2019, 2022) and Windows desktop operating system (e.g., Windows 10).
  • System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 1602 experience - Build, Deployment, Patching, Asset management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Active Directory design, implementation, and management, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and other Windows infrastructure services.
  • Strong scripting skills with languages like PowerShell for automation and task execution.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Extensive Experience of P2V and V2V.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure, is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE-Core infrastructure, Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
