Contract PowerBI Consultant
Rate: Open
Location: Remote in the United States
High preference for candidates in California
Duration: through 12/31/24 with possible extension

Qualifications
- Proven experience with Power BI dashboard development and automation.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes and tools (e.g., Rapid7, Fortify, Black Duck, Aqua).
- Experience integrating data from APIs into Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
- Experience with data automation tools and methods (e.g., Power Automate, Python, or other scripting languages).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards for the vulnerability management team.
- Automate data extraction from multiple vulnerability scanning tools (via APIs, other automation, or manually).
- Integrate vulnerability data into Power BI for daily automated updates.
- Collaborate with the vulnerability management team to understand reporting needs and ensure dashboards are aligned with business requirements.
- Ensure dashboards provide real-time, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboard functionality and data integrity.
- Build purposeful, future-proof reporting (e.g., using service accounts for automation as opposed to personal accounts).
