A mission-driven mental healthcare company based in North County San Diego is looking to bring on a Staff Machine Learning Engineer in a hybrid model to help expand their AI capabilities. This is a full-time role working on impactful products designed to improve access to mental health care. Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years in machine learning or applied AI roles
- Proficient in Python, Django, and deep learning frameworks
- Experience with NLP models, especially BERT or similar architectures
- Strong cloud experience, ideally AWS
- Background in production-level deployment and data pipelines
- Familiarity with Snowflake or modern data platforms
- Passion for mental healthcare or mission-driven companies
- Prior experience working on voice, transcription, or classification projects
- Ability to lead architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers
- Solid understanding of scalable ML infrastructure
