The Global Supply Chain Logistics organization acquires, develops, and supports software systems that organize where and how products will move around the globe to our processing centers and stores each day. We are looking for an Engineering Manager in Global Supply Chain Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team to deliver high quality logistics applications and cultivating a growing team of engineers, managing the day-to-day progress of each team member's professional journey while coordinating with other leaders to maintain a high-performing team.

You will act as the technical lead of the team where you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of solutions but will also offer guidance and support to other members of the team. Although the position is leadership-focused, we are looking for someone technically competent in the delivery of globally distributed, high-uptime applications, aligning technical vision while supporting the delivery of the product roadmap.

Must have

We want creative people that are familiar with the challenges of designing, developing and deploying software in the cloud, especially Microsoft Azure, as we continue to modernize our business.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in leading and managing engineering teams
  • Our teams work with .Net Core /C#, Blazor/Angular, although not a hands-on role, understanding our tech stack is beneficial
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Actively foster a high bar for engineering excellence within your teams. You're accountable for the technical outcomes your teams deliver alongside individual engineer performance and growth, so holding a high bar (and clearly articulating your expectations clearly) is key
  • Lead a team of engineers, support, coach and develop them through their career with regular 1:1s and continuous feedback
  • Partner with senior engineers in your area to drive technical initiatives that raise the bar for our engineering practices
  • Lead on communication with stakeholders from other teams, creating focus space for engineers to do their best work
  • Collaborate with the wider engineering organization to contribute to company-wide best managerial and technical practices and standards

This position has a starting salary range of $122401 to $159101 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
