Application Administrator

Description

We are seeking a skilled Application Administrator to join our IT framework team on a contract basis, supporting one of our largest clients in the post-marketing sector. This role is pivotal in maintaining and supporting user interfaces, mainly operating on JMP software, and will involve interaction with the safety support side. The ideal candidate will have exposure to JAMD and proficiency in SAS language.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of analytic tools for signal detection and evaluation, including SMART, PV Analyze, and PV Trend.
• Use SQL, PL/SQL, and JMP Statistical Software as primary development platforms.
• Work closely with the team to develop and maintain analytical applications in collaboration with physicians and scientists.
• Handle administrative tasks associated with statistical software maintenance, including licensing, deployment, and periodic reviews.
• Conduct interviews with clients and participate in initial screening calls via Zoom.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL; experience with JMP Statistical Software - Application Builder and JSL.
• Ability to work under the direction of the Associate Director, Statistical Safety Programming.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience troubleshooting and managing day-to-day operational issues.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies and best practices, including AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with other scripting languages such as R, Python for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualization.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in Pharmacovigilance.
