Summary

Gainwell Technologies is looking for an experienced Healthcare Data leader to help build and scale the centralized Data and Analytics (D+A) practice within the company. This is a new business function, working across dozens of account teams, client service lines, and product teams to drive innovation and growth through better use of data and analytics.

The VP, Medicaid Data Solutions will report to SVP and GM of Data and Analytics and will be a core part of the leadership team building and delivering data and analytic capabilities across the organization and with Gainwell clients. More specifically, this person will be responsible for defining and executing on a data strategy for the Data and Analytics function, and building the team and capabilities required to support this effort.

Your role in our mission

  • Build and lead core team of data analysts and engineers supporting account and product development teams, with a focus on building and deploying data assets and data-driven solutions.
  • Recruit, develop, and deploy data analytic and engineering talent.
  • Capability building in data management, data product development, and data strategy.
  • Work closely with CDO and D+A engineering team to define and disseminate best practices in Medicaid data management.
  • Develop and execute on 3rd party data strategy for Gainwell, including development, management, and deployment of data assets/solutions.
  • Work with state clients to develop and execute on data strategies.
  • Help build and manage the growing D+A function, including associated administrative and operational activities (e.g., staffing, P+L management, pipeline management).
  • Support client development.

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree, master's or other advanced degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years in healthcare data management and analytics.
  • Experience building and managing data management and analytics teams.
  • Proven track-record of leading data management operations, developing innovative data solutions, and developing data strategies.
  • Experience and expertise working with healthcare data including physical health, BH, and Rx claims; encounter data; clinical data; SDoH and demographic data; diagnostic data.
  • Experience and expertise with Medicaid data and MES systems.
  • Consulting or other professional services experience developing and delivering data / analytic services and solutions for healthcare clients.

The pay range for this position is $176,100.00 - $251,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
