Job Title: Associate, Software Engineer, Applications
Location: 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001
Job Duties: Analyze the client and investment management lifecycle, including client contracting and onboarding, portfolio management, trading, compliance, trade settlement, business operational workflows and overall reporting platforms to design the best solutions. Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, application design, system development, testing, implementation and production support. Create technical design documents to describe the planned solution and the upstream and downstream dependencies. Leverage and learn core technologies designed in-house to scale solutions. Ensure software service resilience, sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for the solutions delivered. Drive the creation of technical test plans and records and leverage automated testing environment to ensure code quality.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered, as an Analyst, Software Engineer, or a related occupation. Experience must include 24 months involving the following: using SQL and corresponding tools to query data; programming using Sybase, Java, Python, Cassandra, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, UNIX, multi-threading, and methodologies including test driven development and object oriented design and programming; and utilizing Agile development methodologies.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $150,500 - $157,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
