A large manufacturing company in the Cedar Rapids area has an immediate need for a Quality Systems Specialist to lead audits and implement improvement processes throughout this highly automated environment. This leading supplier of products for some of the largest organizations in the United States is searching for a driver of change to lead and implement quality standards across various teams while supporting continuous improvement efforts. What you will do:
- Maintain and improve the ISO document control system
- Administer controlled documents per requirements
- Lead and perform audits per guidelines
- Perform corrective and preventative verifications/audits
- Facilitate, coordinate, and lead teams in implementing change
- Maintain and organize the quality database
What you will need to be successful:
- Technical bachelor's degree preferred; associate's degree required
- ISO 9001:2015 Certified
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and schedules
- Team player with great interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
