Job Details
Power BI Support: The team will assist with access-related tasks, workspace management, and basic troubleshooting of Power BI dashboards and reports. They will coordinate with data owners
and report developers to address user issues, help monitor report performance, and support
usage tracking as needed. While not responsible for content development, they will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Power BI Administration Support Skills
- Manage user access and permissions for Power BI workspaces and reports
- Monitor Power BI service health and address user-reported issues
- Troubleshoot data refresh failures and investigate data source connectivity issues
- Support setup and maintenance of Power BI gateways for on-premise data sources
- Review and optimize report performance (e.g., query optimizations, large dataset handling)
- Manage and configure Power BI alerts for key data changes
- Collaborate with users to improve report formatting and visualizations
- Ensure security and compliance for data access within Power BI (e.g., row-level security)
- Coordinate with internal teams for deploying Power BI content to production environments
- Provide user training and documentation for using Power BI effectively
- Assist in the migration of Power BI reports from development to production environments
