Job Title: Sr. IT Financial Data Consultant

Location: Remote (Must be able to work PST hours)

Duration: 12 + Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sr Business Technical Consultant with a strong financial background and systematic approach to support employees primarily in accounts payable. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP and Great Plains and be responsible for developing business and application architecture strategy while providing oversight for system design, development, enhancements, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic systems advisor, leveraging business and technical acumen to develop long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with Data, Product, and Systems teams to architect integration processes.
• Provide architectural and technical documentation for supported technologies.
• Lead architectural review sessions and oversee go/no-go decisions.
• Drive system architecture, process improvement, and team management strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and service levels.
• Provide direction and coaching to team members to support their professional growth.
• Analyze complex technical problems, propose solutions, and implement enhancements.
• Act as product owner in the design, development, and implementation of integrated system solutions.
• Troubleshoot business-impacting issues and recommend system improvements.
• Ensure data integrity in system changes and create/revise technical procedures as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst.
• Experience managing vendors and stakeholder relationships.
• Proven ability to plan and implement process changes in an organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Cognos, and SQL.
• Experience working with and analyzing large datasets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Availability to provide 24x7 global on-call production support as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts payable, finance, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Great Plains.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
