Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy Ansible-based solutions to reduce manual effort in cybersecurity vulnerability management.
- Ensure the automation platform is aligned with organizational security policies and compliance requirements.
- Work alongside cybersecurity teams to ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities.
- Maintain and update automation scripts as required by changing security environments.
- A degree or technical diploma in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Certifications in Ansible, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or other related automation tools are preferred.
- Develop and implement automation workflows using Ansible to remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity vulnerability team to identify areas for automation and optimize existing manual processes.
- Create and maintain playbooks to automate repetitive tasks and ensure scalability.
- Ensure automated workflows integrate seamlessly with existing security infrastructure and toolsets.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for automation-related issues in collaboration with the vulnerability management team.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, offering insights on enhancing the platform's effectiveness.
- Document automation processes and provide training to team members on Ansible usage.
- Minimum of three years of experience in cybersecurity vulnerability management or IT operations, with a strong focus on automation.
- Proven hands-on experience developing automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible, including deployment and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
- Experience with security operations and vulnerability management solutions.
- Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Nessus, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to automate remediation workflows for vulnerability management processes.
- Experience working in large-scale environments, including cross-team collaboration on complex projects.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements, and risk management strategies.
- Expertise in Linux server administration, including scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration with security and IT teams.
- Ability to work independently, self-directed, with a proactive approach to improving automation processes.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
