Client: Health care Provider
Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Duration: 3 Months | Short term assignment
Work Location: 100% Remote
Purpose: Performs Treasury Operation functions for researching and posting incoming payments; researching, voiding and/or reissuing payments issued by CareFirst, and other daily functions related to the ongoing operations of the department.
Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, deadlines, and workloads.
- Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal customers, within set expectations for service excellence.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

Education Level: High School Diploma
Experience: 3-4 years of relevant work, bookkeeping, or data entry experience
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and banking practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; proficient in Excel
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
