Job Title: MDM Engineer

Work Location: Remote in EST zone

24/7 Shift

Job Description

• Endpoint Management:
• Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Expertise with Microsoft Intune , Nice to have Azure AD
• Experience with Windows Autopilot and Modern Management practices
• Knowledge of MacOS and iOS device management solutions in Intune and Apple School/Business Manager

Software Packaging and Deployment:

• Proficiency in application packaging
• Experience with software distribution and update management
• Expertise in PowerShell >> nice to have ///intermediate skill is okay

Security and Compliance:

• Strong understanding of endpoint security best practices and standards
• Experience implementing and managing security policies (e.g., BitLocker, Windows Defender, Conditional Access)
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001)

Infrastructure and Cloud Services:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop
• Knowledge of network architecture and services (VPN, DNS, DHCP)

Modern Endpoint Management: //understanding of endpoint management is good // need hands-on experience

• In-depth understanding of modern endpoint management approaches
• Ability to design and implement solutions using Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM)
• Experience with BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) strategies and managing diverse device environments
• Knowledge of co-management strategies combining Intune and SCCM

Soft Skills

Strategic Planning:

• Ability to design and implement long-term endpoint management strategies
• Experience in developing roadmaps and setting technical direction for endpoint solutions

Problem-Solving:

• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex issues
• Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential problems

Communication and Collaboration:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Helpdesk, etc.)
• Experience in leading technical discussions and presenting solutions to stakeholders

Customer Focus:

• Strong customer service orientation
• Experience engaging with end-users to gather requirements and feedback

Experience

Years of Experience:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in endpoint management and IT infrastructure roles

Project Management:

• Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale IT projects

Certifications: // Nice to have

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
