As the IT Portfolio Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the organization's IT projects and programs. You will ensure that IT investments align with corporate strategy and deliver value. This position reports directly to the Director of IT PMO and is pivotal in managing and optimizing the IT portfolio to achieve operational excellence and innovation. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional Oral and written communication skills who will be able to communicate with all levels of the organization

This is a hands-on role that requires the individual to be able to operate at all levels of the project, program, and portfolio management leader and then be able to delve into programs to support their success.

You Will:
  • Develop and implement IT portfolio management strategies and processes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provides governance & oversight of projects and programs to ensure project goals or objectives are accomplished within the approved time frame, scope, and budget
  • Lead the evaluation and prioritization of project proposals, ensuring they meet strategic goals, budget constraints, and resource availability.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the IT portfolio, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Manage portfolio risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies and be able to roll up your sleeves and take ownership of programs that need assistance.
  • Foster collaboration among project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and delivery of IT initiatives.
  • Optimize resource allocation across projects to achieve balance and maximize returns.
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT portfolio management practices through metrics, KPIs, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Act as a mentor and leader to the portfolio management team, encouraging professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Ensures scope tradeoffs, timeline, and budgets are adhered to for initiatives by tracking and keeping stakeholders aware of red flags, issues, risks, and opportunities to respond to change.
  • Understand the lay of the land - understand key projects - understand the portfolio and develop some problem statements to solve
  • Help with some executive training/guidance/coaching for IT/team members (how to think strategically, how to build slides etc.)

You Bring:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Should have exceptional Presentation skills ( PPT, written and oral presentation skills )
  • 8+ years of proven experience in IT portfolio management, project management, or a similar role in a large organization.
  • Experience managing software development lifecycle utilizing multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall etc.)
  • Expertise in managing software development on 3 rd party vendor platforms and internal full-stack development.
  • 8+ years experience in IT Program/Portfolio Management managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • 5+ years' experience in Salesforce and Finance Program Management
  • Must have managed multiple Technology Programs
  • Strong familiarity with project management software and IT governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a strong problem-solving aptitude.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
  • Manufacturing knowledge desired but not required

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$146,100 - $210,280 USD
