Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) will be working on the modernization of ADSD data systems to provide for electronic application, enrollment, case management, and billing to serve Nevada s most vulnerable populations. This project is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) with the goal of modernization and integration of ADSD data systems to reduce barriers and improve access to services, streamline and create efficient workflows, reduce duplication in data entry and document collection, eliminate paper and manual processes, and improve data sharing across ADSD programs. A Business Analyst is needed for internally developed applications to create workflow analysis, requirements gathering, project deliverable management, testing, and training. This project is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) with the goal of modernization and integration of ADSD data systems to reduce barriers and improve access to services, streamline and create efficient workflows, reduce duplication in data entry and document collection, eliminate paper and manual processes, and improve data sharing across ADSD programs. This project mut be complete by 11/2026 not to exceed ARPA funding period for expenditure.

Scope of Work for Business Process Analyst (BPA)

Objective: To support the Project Manager in managing multiple projects within the IT department, participate actively in the product management team, and leverage full-stack IT platform knowledge for internally developed solutions and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Support:

• Assist the Project Manager with planning, executing, and completing projects.
• Help develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Track project progress and ensure all tasks are completed on time.

1. Workflow Optimization:

• Work with the Project Manager to identify workflow inefficiencies.
• Propose and implement improvements to optimize processes.
• Document new workflows and train staff on process changes.

1. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Maintain regular communication with the project team, IT department, and internal customers.
• Gather and document requirements from stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business needs.
• Assist in addressing any stakeholder concerns or issues.

1. Quality Assurance:

• Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
• Participate in project reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

1. Product Management Participation:

• Actively participate in the product management team s activities.
• Collaborate with the product management team to align project goals with product objectives.
• Provide input and support for product development initiatives.

1. Reporting and Additional Duties:

• Report to the IT department leadership.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by the IT department.
• Ensure all assigned duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
