Position Title: Angular Developer

Location: Remote

Position Overview:

Indev is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to join one of our federal projects supporting the Department of Transportation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role with the software migration from Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) to Angular. Qualified applicants will have experience with requirements analysis, software maintenance, test and quality assurance plan development, development and maintenance of system and user documentation, and DevSecOps.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Migrate all webservices / Application Programming Interface (API) to AWS environment
  • Update all associated applications to use the new web services hosted in the AWS environment
  • Redesign and Develop Application s Graphical User Interface (GUI)
  • Implement security best practices by securing system vulnerabilities and protocols to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with government regulations.
  • Remediate system vulnerabilities
  • Assist in the retirement of the managed server that currently hosts the Webservices/APIs

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using Oracle ADF and design, development, and deployment of ADF applications
  • 3+ years of experience programming/developing rich client web applications using J2EE specs including Java, JSF, EJB, Oracle ADF Framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and support mission critical systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of Infrastructure as Code, Automation, and Orchestration
  • Expertise in AWS implementation to include core AWS resources (VPC, EC2, S3 etc.) and advanced AWS resources (Lambda, CloudFront)
  • Experience in setting up AWS Cognito, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and ADFS and providing access to integrate applications via API Gateway
  • Knowledge and experience in building APIs within AWS and API Transit Gateway
  • Strong CLI and API technology use experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python, YAML or JSON)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools to including Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes using Jenkins, GitHub, and Jira
  • Experience with Oracle Business process management, service bus, and Oracle SOA Suite
  • Strong experience with Oracle SQL, distributed technologies, Frameworks, and Application servers
  • Experience with Microservices architecture design
  • Prior experience with creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for software design, architecture, and user guides
