Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour

Company Description
Akkodis is seekinga Python Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). You will be responsible for migrating batch/ETL code from Perl to Python as part of a technology alignment project.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Python Developer job responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining ETL processes with a focus on Python and Microsoft Transact SQL.
Reading and interpreting Perl code to facilitate accurate translation to Python.
Designing and architecting frameworks for efficient ETL processes.
Collaborating with team members and operational partners to validate functionality.
Conducting code reviews, testing fixes, and participating in design reviews.
Working within an Agile development environment using tools like JIRA and Bitbucket.
Managing and optimizing interactions with databases, including MongoDB and SQL Server.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Python development.
Strong ability to read and translate Perl code into Python.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Transact SQL.
Design and architecture experience for ETL processes.
