About the Role:

The role of Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for integrating and analyzing data to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions. This role involves a combination of technical prowess in handling data through SQL, Python, and Power BI, and strategic thinking to assess customer patterns and market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, MSFN-specific systems, web analytics tools, HubSpot, Tableau, Power BI, and external vendors.
  • Clean, validate, and integrate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across multiple platforms.
  • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights for visualization in HubSpot, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations in HubSpot, Tableau, and Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to uncover business opportunities and challenges.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis to understand the factors driving key performance indicators (KPIs) and business outcomes.
  • Present complex data and analysis in a clear and concise manner, leveraging visual storytelling through Tableau, Power BI, and HubSpot.
  • Continuously refine and improve reporting mechanisms to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Utilize predictive analytics techniques to forecast future trends and outcomes.
  • Build and validate predictive models to support strategic planning and resource allocation decisions.
  • Monitor model performance and adjust as necessary to improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, requirements, and priorities.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment on data-driven initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of business intelligence and analytics.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BI solutions.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization by promoting the value of business intelligence and analytics.
  • Fulfill other assigned tasks as necessary.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent education, required.
  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with HubSpot and BI tools including Tableau and Power BI for creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
