This is a full time FTE position, no contract

Resource MUST be onsite 4 days a week at either their Dallas, TX or Miami, FL location (no exceptions) **The client offers a relocation package to assist with a move if required**

Enterprise Search Engine Developer/Engineer

What technologies must this candidate have experience in and at what proficiency level?

- Someone who knows how search engines work

- Strong experience with the Coveo Search platform (preferred), it not, Solr, Elasticsearch, or

similar.

- Java/Python (either is fine) are required and JavaScript a nice-to-have

- This candidate would be definitely aBackend Dev

- 4-5+ years of experience as a Python/Java Dev

- Any cloud experience would be good (Yes, have to have that)...knowing how to build and

deploy microservices in the cloud.

- Have to have microservices experience.

What qualifications are must-haves for candidates?

- Search Platform Experience: They will be helping them build the Enterprise Search

platform (B2B e-commerce)

- They are looking for someone who has experience in search solutions in the past.

Any particular industries that would be desirable for this candidate to have come from?

- B2B/B2C or e-commerce companies

- Someone with the search experience but not necessarily with the B2B/B2C/e-commerce

experience.

What are the top 3 qualities/experience that an ideal candidate would possess?

- Aside from the hard requirements above:

- Somebody with good communication skills and is customer centric (How will we solve

customer s problems, someone who understands customers first, etc.)

What would be some nice-to-have skills for candidates and why?

- If they have done any outside certifications in any of the platforms or cloud platforms.

- He is more interested in the things they have done in the past year.

- Candidate has an ability to explain things clearly.

What are your deal breakers for this role and why?

What s the structure of your current team and who will your new hire report to?

- Person would be reported to Lokesh.

- It s a brand new team, they have a Business Analyst currently, and would be 2 backend

engineers.
