Knowledge Management, Inc is seeking a Sr. Information Systems Training Specialist. The Sr. Information Systems Training Specialist supports field focused training efforts intended to up-skill the enterprise IT workforce.
Key responsibilities & required skills
The position requires experience in and preferably certification for the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) model of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) provides dynamic, flexible guidelines for building effective training.

Knowledge Management, Inc is seeking a Sr. Information Systems Training Specialist. The Sr. Information Systems Training Specialist supports field focused training efforts intended to up-skill the enterprise IT workforce.
Key responsibilities & required skills
- Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
- Plans and leads major technology assignments.
- Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
- May supervise others.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
- Provide support for coordinating, developing, and delivering computer-related training to the user community.
- Designs and develops instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements; conducts analysis of training requirements and media requirements; develops appropriate training objectives and test methods and designs instructionally valid training materials; ensures integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans; designs and develops computer based training, web-based training, electronic performance support systems and other technology-based learning solutions; develops flow diagrams and story boards; designs instructionally sound lessons in a variety of delivery media; interacts with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content.
- Develops new and updates existing training materials in support of functionality developed in IT systems for all worldwide users.
- Conducts training courses as required and creates communications plans to assist in training sessions.
- Provide standards, services, and guidance on IT related training programs that are designed to enable government agency personnel to use information technologies and systems more productively.
- Understand computer functions and related technical terminology and how they are applied in everyday business situations.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.

- Develop course plans/curricula
- Develop training agendas
- Coordinate with Training Division to ensure no duplications of effort
- Research new IT based training tools and provide recommendations
- Facilitate developed training content if necessary
- Develop multimedia training material to support the field ITS community
- Develop course plans/curricula to meet goals created by government lead
- Develop training agendas to meet annual or promotional requirements set by government lead
- Coordinate with Training Division to ensure no duplications of effort
- Research new IT based training tools and provide recommendations
- Facilitate developed training content if necessary to support OLS mission
- Create digital marketing material for OLS products, services, and programs
- Assist with administering online training accounts and platforms, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement as needed
- Assist with execution of training events as necessary to provide support for developed materials
