Location: Cincinnati, OH or Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)
Job Description:
- Technical responsibility of Compute & 'Sys Admin' operations for Customer
- Point of contact with technical partners and suppliers for ongoing operational services, transitions & updates related to any Compute & 'Sys Admin' operations.
- Technical support across a range of infrastructure components and services as they relate to Compute & 'Sys Admin' requirements and technologies, including (but not limited to) Windows, Sun/Solaris, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP, Replication, VMWare & Citrix.
- Able operate Compute & 'Sys Admin' services related to App services and middleware, including but not limited to, SFTP, SQL, VDI, Oracle DB, encryption technologies
- Support technical teams across global Data Center & Infrastructure strategy and it relates to Compute technologies for Customer.
- Help ensure Enterprise Vulnerability management is delivered effectively.
- Support OS patching and versioning strategy
- Support Customer on-prem hosting CMMC & SOX strategy to ensure compliance.
- Support Customer EoS/EoL (tech debt) strategy. Ensure we always remain safe and compliant.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure services and hosting (Compute, virtualization, storage) technologies.
- Experience working in an ITIL environment
- ITIL3 and/or ITIL4 foundation certified
- Recent experience that clearly shows an ability to operate Enterprise grade Compute and System Administration solutions
- Experience supporting Compute & 'Sys Admin' solutions across the common stack of Physical, hypervisor, OS, App, DB, storage, and administration tools
- Deep domain technical expertise operating, leading, and designing Compute solutions, including but not limited to Windows, Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, Oracle, VMware, Solaris LDOM's, virtualized DC's (VDC), ITAM, vulnerability management tools and process to virtualize physical workloads.
- Technical tenacity. Intense focus on going deep to resolve technical roadblocks.
- Demonstrate ability to deliver service operations across the product ecosystem
- Ability to decompose problems and drive decisions when problems or solutions are not 100% defined
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High Say/Do Ratio: Puts plans into action. Measures outcomes to ensure continued value.
