Job Details

POSITION OBJECTIVE The Pricing/Data Analyst is responsible for the development and implementation of key corporate initiatives, as well as the audit and inspection of implemented initiatives in order to drive and insure compliance. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports
Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment
Identify and recommend new ways to improve business processes
Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
Update and improve current Excel based tools
Create new tools COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) Excel VBA Macros
SAP ERP
SAP SQL Database manage
Update USS for new products
Current device maintenance for USS

Analytical Skills: Data analysts work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. You will need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
Communication Skills: Data analysts are often called to present their findings, or translate the data into an understandable document. You will need to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
Critical Thinking: Data analysts must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
Attention to Detail: Data is precise. Data analysts have to make sure they are vigilant in their analysis to come to correct conclusions.
Math Skills: Data analysts need math skills to estimate numerical data.
Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field
Experience supporting and administering SAP CRM applications for a medium to large organization
Ability to Configure and customize SAP CRM functionality to meet required business needs
Ability to develop, plan, organize and conduct user training sessions related to SAP CRM functionality
Knowledge of database concepts (specifically Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server)
A high standard of verbal and written communication
Strong presentation skills
Ability to communicate with non-technical users on CRM applications
Understanding of SAP CRM Architecture Preferred

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
