Job Description:

We are seeking a Security Engineer Big Data to contribute to the Auto Legacy Shutdown Program. This position requires a highly skilled individual with experience in AWS Cloud development, data modernization tools, and event-driven solutions. The engineer will work closely with the management team to lead and execute strategic software development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute strategic software development tasks with AWS and Data Modernization tools.
  • Collaborate with management to facilitate and lead assigned projects for the team.
  • Facilitate team sessions to plan, break down tasks, assign work, size, estimate, and road-map project deliveries.
  • Create and maintain project artifacts like scoping documents, project plans, timelines, stakeholder engagement, and communication plans.
  • Strategize and deliver effective communication to stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise.
  • Prioritize and work with minimal supervision on complex assignments.

Technical Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in cloud development with AWS.
  • Proficiency in designing/developing event-driven solutions.
  • Extensive experience with AWS Native services (S3, Redshift, Aurora, Glue, Lambda, IAM, etc.).
  • Apache Spark knowledge for big data processing.
  • Experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Programming skills in Scala, Python, and Node.js.
  • Experience with Relational Databases on AWS.
  • Familiarity with Automation using BDD and Terratest.
