We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer IV to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications using cutting-edge technologies like AWS Lambda, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS Step Functions. You will be responsible for contributing to the full software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant software applications using AWS Lambda, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS Step Functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements, define specifications, and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, coding boot camp, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven programming.
  • Understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience developing Healthcare applications is a big plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
