About This Role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology with proficiency in the Banking and Finance sector, possessing comprehensive understanding of Commercial Banking procedures and Loan Accounting platform Loan IQ. This position will be responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of general modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience with Loan Accounting applications such as Loan IQ and expertise in integrating such applications with other enterprise applications
  • 3+ years of experience with Loan IQ Data Model, batch jobs, APIs and enhancing Loan IQ using Finastra's SDK
  • 3+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services


Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Java experience with Spring, Spring Data, and Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
  • 3+ years of RDBMS experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with Loan IQ software
  • 1+ years of JIRA experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles, microservices and containers
  • An industry-standard technology certification
