Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer (Windows Infrastructure)

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Windows infrastructure to join our growing team.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience deploying and managing Windows-based environments in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and possess deep knowledge of system administration, automation, and security hardening.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server infrastructure in AWS using CloudFormation templates.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server instances, including troubleshooting, patching, and performance tuning.
• Manage and administer Active Directory, including user/group policies and domain services for user access and server administration.
• Develop and maintain automated patch management solutions for Windows infrastructure.
• Implement hardening practices to secure Windows environments in compliance with internal and external security standards.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure infrastructure meets regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Windows Server Administration in a cloud environment.
• Expertise in deploying and managing Windows-based infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation.
• Foundational understanding of AWS networking technologies including VPCs, Subnets and Transit Gateways.
• Familiarity with Git, as well as tools such as Ansible, AWS CodeFamily or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory Administration including creation of Organizational Units, Groups and Policies.
• Experience implementing and maintaining automated server patching solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Windows infrastructure hardening and security best practices.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience deploying and maintaining AWS RDS for SQL Server
• Experience managing Active Directory using AWS Directory Services.
• Knowledge of deploying patch automation using AWS Systems Manager (SSM).
• Previous experience deploying and maintaining UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Familiarity with building and managing HIPAA-compliant Windows environments in
• AWS.
