RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Boston, MA.
Project Details:
The client is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead and mentor on a business-side IT project focused on environmental services and research.
Details:
* Scope: Business-side IT project with vendor involvement, following traditional waterfall methodology
* Timeline: Estimated project duration is 12-26 weeks
* Location: Remote, Northeast U.S. preferred; EST hours
* Tools: Preference for Smartsheet due to user-friendliness
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute all phases of project management (charter, scheduling, methodology adherence)
* Develop project plans and artifacts to support structured project execution
* Oversee vendor coordination and align project objectives with business needs
* Mentor a junior PM, providing guidance and introducing foundational PM skills and best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* PMP certification or a Master's degree in Project Management
* 3-5 years of experience in project management
* Background in vendor management and collaboration with cross-functional teams of around 10 people
* Experience in environmental health or healthcare is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
