We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive technology strategy, solution development, and architectural best practices across a global IT landscape. This role will focus on ERP systems (SAP), cloud transformation, and data architecture while collaborating with cross-functional teams to modernize enterprise technology stacks.

This is a remote role, but candidates are expected to work on Eastern Time (ET), preferably based in the Greater Atlanta, GA region.

  • Technology Strategy & Governance
    • Advocate for reusable technologies, solutions, and patterns across global and regional IT teams.
    • Ensure seamless integration of regional requirements into global solution development roadmaps.
    • Lead Enterprise Architecture (EA) best practices, principles, and reference patterns.
  • Enterprise & Solution Architecture
    • Maintain a thought leadership perspective on emerging technologies and provide expert guidance.
    • Engage stakeholders including IT Business Relationship Managers, Business Development teams, and Solution Architects.
    • Define architecture vision and strategy for new technology introduction.
    • Conduct initial architecture assessments, high-level designs (HLD), and proof-of-concepts (POCs) before handing off to Solution Architects for low-level design (LLD).
    • Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings for technology approvals.
  • Cloud & Data Modernization
    • Lead the modernization of O9 on-premise systems to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
    • Participate in Databricks modeling, analysis, and simulations of complex systems and scenarios.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with Global & Regional IT teams to align business and technology goals.
    • Influence executive leadership and key stakeholders on technology strategy, costs, benefits, and trade-offs.
    • Drive the evaluation and onboarding of new technologies, including POCs and MVPs.
< data-start="2409" data-end="2443">Minimum Qualifications:</>
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive IT architecture experience spanning business, data, application, and technology disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, particularly in manufacturing, supply chain, EHS, and finance.
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate business-aligned technology strategies.
  • Expertise in SAP, Enterprise Architecture, Databricks, and AKS.
  • Experience designing solutions for on-prem and hybrid cloud environments (Microsoft Azure).
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Certifications or proficiency in SAFe and TOGAF frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and WCM business methodologies.
  • Experience working in a global IT leadership role with multinational business challenges.
  • Recognized thought leadership in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., publications, conference presentations, industry forums).
