Job Title: Middleware LAMP Engineer
Location: Remote / Work from home

Work Schedule:
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Middleware Engineer to join our high-performing software development team. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies, including the LAMP stack, Memcached, and JavaScript, on a project with significant impact.

As a Middleware Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing deployment methodologies and systems. You will be responsible for managing platform and application pipelines, ensuring smooth code updates, and maintaining a highly available infrastructure.

The primary skill we need for the LoanFx project is PHP skills, the ability to understand and investigate code to identify root cause. Essentially, this is a hybrid skillset of server management (infrastructure) and PHP development code, scripts and queries.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex system integrations, ensuring security and efficiency.
Write and analyze PHP scripts and queries to investigate issues and retrieve data.
Manage and execute safe, efficient deployments of software applications and updates.
Handle issuance, renewal, and deployment of security certificates for servers and network devices.
Diagnose and resolve middleware-related issues to optimize system performance.
Perform installation, configuration, and administrative functions for middleware components.
Support AWS migrations and develop enterprise architecture roadmaps.
Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
Maintain technical documentation for future engineers and managers.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience in system integration and middleware development.
Strong proficiency in Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP stack).
Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including migrations and architecture design.
Knowledge of client-server networking and database queries.
Ability to provide technical solutions, determine design direction, and make hardware recommendations.
Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning for middleware components.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details to diverse audiences.
Ability to analyze risks and resolve architectural challenges.

Preferred Certifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (or equivalent cloud certification).

Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor X;s degree in IT systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience as a Middleware Engineer managing applications and infrastructure.
At least three years of experience supporting a LAMP stack environment.
