Job Details
Seeking a configuration engineer to Implement, configure, and manage the Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform with Swimlane experience for remote contract opportunity with my direct client in MN.

Interviews: 2 rounds
- Implement, configure, and manage the Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform (3+ years min) with swimlane preferably.
API integration
- Integrate the SOAR platform with other security tools and systems to ensure seamless data flow and response actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, integrate and implement security solutions.
- Provide training and support to team members on SOAR platform usage and best practices.
- Deploy and manage the SOAR infrastructure.
- Communicate the value and impact of SOAR initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.
- Work closely with leadership to align security strategies with business objectives.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and leadership.
Skills:
- Proven experience with SOAR platform.
- Strong understanding of security operations and incident response processes.
- Experience in developing automation workflows and integrating security tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with other security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS).
- Experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) for container orchestration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work with leadership to drive security initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
