Job Details

A NonStop developer, also known as an HPE Tandem developer, designs, develops, and maintains applications on the HPE NonStop platform, focusing on tasks like coding, testing, debugging, and ensuring system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development:

  • Designing, coding, testing, and deploying new applications on the HP NonStop platform.
  • Maintaining and improving existing applications.
  • Writing, testing, and debugging code in languages like TAL, COBOL, C/C++, and Java.

System Expertise:

  • Understanding and working with the HPE NonStop architecture, including hardware and software components.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to application architecture and performance.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicating technical information clearly and effectively.

Specific Technologies:

  • Familiarity with NonStop operating systems (J-Series and L-Series).
  • Experience with tools like TMF, RDF, DRNet, GoldenGate, Expand, NetBatch, Control-M, ETINET, NDM, QTOS, MQ v8, and IPSEC.

Other Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of agile and lean methodologies.
