Job Details
| Job Title- UKG Functional Tester Job Description- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in functional testing of UKG Pro (formerly Kronos Workforce Dimensions/Workforce Central). Design, develop, and execute comprehensive functional test plans and test cases for the UKG Pro platform, specifically focusing on Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and EZ Call modules. Perform thorough functional testing, including system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support. Identify, document, and track defects using a designated defect management system, ensuring clear and concise reporting. Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and developers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Develop a strong understanding of UKG processes and configurations related to Staffing, Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Absence and Leave Management, and EZ Call. Utilize your knowledge of UKG reports to support the product team in validating data integrity and system functionality. Participate in test planning and estimation activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Potentially contribute to the creation and maintenance of test data. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding test progress, results, and potential risks. What are the top skills required for this role? Proven expertise in testing the Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and EZ Call modules within UKG Pro. Strong understanding of UKG processes and configurations related to Staffing, Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Absence and Leave Management, and EZ Call. Experience in utilizing and understanding UKG standard reports and the ability to analyze data to support testing efforts. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and the software development lifecycle. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
