The Role

The Content Developer / Technical Content Writer plays a crucial role in supporting clients and product team members by translating highly technical information into user-friendly manuals, guides, videos, and other materials for internal business partners and external clients. They collaborate closely with Product Architects, Cyber Engineers, and Software Engineers to produce content for various applications that explain the functionality of D3 products and services. This highly collaborative position requires strong skills in conducting meetings with Software Developers, Cybersecurity Engineers, and other Subject Matter Experts to gather information, clarify requirements, understand technical details, and present solutions in an easily understandable manner.


General Overview:

  • Write, format, review, and proof procedural and technical information for Internal & Technical users.
  • Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
  • Deeply understand the technical solution details and underlying logic, and effectively present the solution both internally and externally.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, research, write, and revise documentation.
  • Edit existing developer-written content in preparation for publication.
  • Manage your time and own your work.
  • Analyze and consistently improve existing and potential content.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of technical writing experience
  • Strong writing, production, and technical editing skills
  • Strong understanding of technical details and logic, coupled with excellent presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, MSSP and cybersecurity industry


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with API documentation.
  • Familiarity with working and experimenting with code samples to better understand the needs of API consumers.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with software development languages.
  • Familiarity with cloud native technologies.
  • Attention to detail with a creative eye.
  • Ability to efficiently and thoroughly address feedback on published content from both customers and internal support representatives.

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
