Description

SAIC is seeking a Cross Domain Integration Engineer to join our team to support the Department of Air Force's (DAF) Advanced Battle Management System's (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI), Digital Infrastructure Processing Node (DIPN) Product Line Team. ABMS is the Air Force's latest effort to create a next-generation command and control (C2) system and is a top modernization priority for the DAF. ABMS will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across the Department of Defense. The broader effort known as the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) is focused on rapid integration of capabilities and modernizing the decision-making processes for combat operations.

To accomplish the DAF's mission, the government in partnership with the ABMS Consortium will develop a multiple DIPN Products to include the Deployable Digital Infrastructure (DDI) and Fixed Digital Infrastructure (FDI). The DIPN Product Line Team is comprised of industry leaders in systems engineering, digital engineering, model-based systems engineering, cyber security, integration & test and operations and sustainment working together in a collaborative environment to delivery critical capabilities to our warfighters.

The Cross Domain Integration Engineer will work within the DIPN Product Line Team to:
  • Provide technical expertise to the Cyber Services Team.
  • Drive innovative solutions to deliver results to the warfighters that leverage the latest in DevSecOps resources and scalable cloud and bare metal microservices to support advanced communications, tactical cloud, and secure processing.
  • Facilitate technical information exchange on Platform as a Service (PaaS) functions in support of consortium objectives to provide on-demand access to computing resources.
  • Decompose and allocate requirements to system functions to design, develop and deploy a capability of monitoring and maintaining an application ecosystem running on PaaS.
  • Coordinate with other DIPN Teams to develop and maintain digital system architecture, models, cyber security and architecture standards of the ABMS using agile development processes.

Qualifications
  • BS in Technical Degree.
  • 9 years experience, preferably in systems integration.
  • Deep familiarity with cross-domain and communications encryption technologies.
  • Prior experience integrating the following technologies into US military data processing nodes:
    • Cross-Domain Transfer devices (Diodes, Guards)
    • Cross-Domain Access technologies (cross-domain remote desktop brokers, cross-domain thick client VM streaming)
    • Remote desktop technologies and standards (RDP, PCoIP)
    • Type-1 encryptors, specifically TACLANE, including experience with key management
    • Embedded communications encryption technologies, specifically NSA CSfC

Desired:
  • Experience using containerization / Kubernetes technologies to integrate software into systems.
  • Experience with Citrix SecureView technology.
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid cloud technology.
  • Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines (Fleet, Ansible).

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
