Tooling Engineer work on developing and maintaining complex equipment and analytical tools in an ESD environment. Multi-tasked responsibilities may include hands-on equipment calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair tasks as well as designing and debugging test-fixture, updating test-fixture as needed through product life cycle.

Primary job responsibilities are hands on maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading, developing, and improving state-of-the-art metrology tools that are similar to validation testing in a specific functional area. Responsibilities will also include development of metrology tool hardware, tool cable harness/wirings, and tool collaterals. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, must be flexible, pay attention to detail and good problem-solving ability is a must. Candidate must be a self-starter, capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.

Having knowledge and experience in the use of laboratory measurement and data acquisition equipment such as rack mount digital multimeters, rack mount power supply, power distribution units will be added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/electrical and electronic engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline is required.
  • 3 years of work experience as an equipment maintenance and service in Semiconductor Validation testing or in any Semiconductor testing area is required.
  • Candidate must have good knowledge of MS Office (including Outlook)
