Analytica is seeking an energetic and dynamic Technical Proposal Writer to directly support growth efforts across the company. As a Technical Proposal Writer, you will organize and prepare information and data in support of a variety of publications for a Federal Government audience. Technical/proposal writing requires an understanding of information technology (IT) and management consulting services. Tasks include creation of Federal Government proposal responses, past performance and resume write-ups, white papers, and responses to Requests for Information, and marketing information. This will be a hybrid role (planned for 1-4x a month in-office, as need).

Responsibilities:

  • Determines content by studying requests for proposal (RFPs, RFIs, etc.); attending strategy meetings; speaking with subject matter experts.
  • Supports the Proposal Manager and the proposal process. Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates; coordinating requirements with contributors; and reporting proposal status.
  • Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information and interviewing subject matter experts.
  • Develops proposal content by assembling information and creating solutions/outcomes/benefits outlines.
  • Contributes to proposal graphics development.
  • Writes, revises, and edits drafts including executive summaries and technical, management, past performance, resume, and pricing sections as assigned.
  • Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases.
  • Supports marketing efforts by developing and writing market collateral materials

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant Bachelor s degree required; Masters a plus
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
  • Minimum of one (1) years of technical writing experience
  • Experience managing MS SharePoint Online, including document versioning and document management
  • Experience with Applications MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including Office 365
  • Strong understanding of Government Proposals (i.e., RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.) and the Proposal Response process.
  • Understanding of Information Technology (IT) concepts, management processes, and Federal Government IT service delivery best practices.
