Data Analyst

About the Role:

Are you an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in financial services and expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Google BigQuery? This unique analyst role may be perfect for you! Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases
• Create and manage Tableau dashboards to provide visuals with actionable insights
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis
• Provide support for ad-hoc data requests and analytical projects

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and BigQuery
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Preferred qualifications:
• Domain expertise in Sanctions (if not, experience in Compliance, Risk, or Financial Crimes is required)
• Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
