Job Details

Our client is seeking a talented and highly motivated RFIC/PA (Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit/Power Amplifier) Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RFIC design and a passion for developing high-performance power amplifiers for wireless communication systems. As part of our team, you will play a key role in advancing our cutting-edge semiconductor products and contribute to the development of next-generation wireless technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, model, and simulate RFICs, with a focus on Power Amplifiers (PAs) for wireless communication applications (e.g., 5G, Wi-Fi, IoT, etc.).
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, package designers, and test engineers, to optimize circuit performance and ensure integration into larger systems.
  • Perform detailed analysis and optimization of linear and non-linear performance metrics (e.g., gain, linearity, efficiency, noise figure).
  • Develop and validate system-level models and simulations, ensuring the RFICs meet required specifications and performance targets.
  • Conduct transistor-level design and layout of RF circuits, leveraging advanced design tools and techniques.
  • Develop and execute testing plans to characterize the performance of prototypes, debug issues, and ensure product quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging RF and semiconductor technologies to drive innovation and improve existing design methodologies.
  • Support product release and production, including working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth handoff of designs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in RFIC and PA design, with proven expertise in high-frequency design and simulation tools (e.g., ADS, Cadence, Microwave Office, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of RF and microwave theory, including active and passive components, transmission lines, matching networks, and impedance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with measurement equipment, such as vector network analyzers (VNA), spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Familiarity with process technologies (e.g., CMOS, GaAs, GaN, or SOI) for RFIC and PA applications.
  • Experience with power amplifier linearization, efficiency optimization, and low-noise performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex RF system and circuit issues.

The Offer:
  • Competitive Salary
  • You will receive the following benefits:
  • Medical Insurance
  • Dental Benefits
  • Vision Benefits
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 401(k) {including match- if applicable}
