Apptech Group is urgently looking for *QA Manager* for one of our premium clients.

Experience Required: 12+yrs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advance leadership and governance skills are required to be effective in this role.
  • Expertise in testing methodologies, and best practices for enterprise shared, SaaS products are essential.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of software testing quality assurance and quality control, including industry standards and best practices, defining testing scope, identifying suitable types/methods of testing, and the development of metrics for evaluating progress and assessing quality.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of all testing activities, deliverables and processes, as outlined in the approved testing strategy and detailed testing plans.
  • Ensure test results and defects are properly documented. Prepare or review detailed reports of test results and defects, ensuring it is distributed to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with system implementer, project managers and schedulers to ensure all test activities, deliverables and milestones are represented in the project work plan.
  • Provide status and schedule updates. Work closely with system implementer (vendor) test lead and assigned project manager.
  • Effectively manages and deploys all testing resources, including testers and tools. Advises and requests additional resources needed to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Monitor team performance and take action as needed, such as providing additional guidance, leading conflict resolution, or coaching team on how to overcome barriers or other obstacles.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels between testers, business stakeholders, developers, project managers and leadership team.
  • Recommend or incorporate changes to testing plans and processes based on gaps, lessons learned and/or other process improvements. Coordinate and communicate changes to all appropriate stakeholders.
  • Identify and document risks and issues. Develop mitigation strategy and contingency plans to effectively manage risks related to testing or the testing team.
  • Resolve or escalation issues in a timely manner.
