Client location: California

Our client is seeking a skilled Security Risk and Compliance Analyst to oversee the Unit Information Security Lead (UISL) program. This position will coordinate and empower UISLs across campus units to implement and enforce information security policies in line with the Information Security Policy. The role involves leading projects, managing quarterly meetings, maintaining security frameworks, and ensuring compliance with client specific guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, project management experience, and a strong understanding of security compliance in higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the UISL program, facilitating quarterly meetings and supporting ongoing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure proper implementation of security controls.
  • Empower UISLs to perform risk assessments, manage access rights, and handle security incident reporting.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve compliance with University s information security policies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management roles.
  • Experience with information security policies, particularly in higher education or government sectors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in IT or a related field.
