We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Senior Electrical Test Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is integral to ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our electrical systems. As a Senior Electrical Test Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing testing strategies for our complex electrical systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems and components to required specifications. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about engineering, is LabView Certified, and enjoys problem-solving in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure that all electrical systems perform according to necessary specifications.
2. Work closely with other engineering teams to identify any potential issues or improvements in the electrical systems.
3. Develop automation systems to increase the efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.
4. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
5. Conduct performance analysis and provide recommendations for improvements.
6. Ensure all electrical designs and installations conform to the applicable industry quality standards and regulations.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the completion of all project deliverables.
9. Review and update electrical engineering documents and drawings.
10. Participate in design reviews to ensure the integration of electrical system designs with overall system designs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field. A Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with automation and electrical testing.
4. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power systems, and electronics.
5. Proficient in the use of electrical engineering software, such as AutoCAD Electrical.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Proficiency in the use of test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
9. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
10. Knowledge of applicable industry safety standards and regulations.
11. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
