Key Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for crafting and managing detailed project schedules for initiatives to improve crew scheduling systems and applications. The ideal candidate has experience on large, cross-functional digital technology projects and can work closely with DT and business stakeholders to identify tasks, dependencies, risks, and issues. This position will also assist with crafting, developing, and testing of new automation initiatives.
  • Developing and leading detailed schedules for multiple simultaneous, large, cross-functional projects
  • Communicate schedule conflicts, bottlenecks, and risks/issues to leadership
  • Send regular status reports to all project's collaborators
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing and verify if products meet all business requirements and help prioritize bugs and identify if any Change Requests are needed
  • Develop business requirements for automation projects and system applications
  • Support the FOCS scheduling team with product support and ad hoc projects

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Aviation, digital technology, or business management
  • 3+ years of DT project management experience
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Project (or any equivalent scheduling software)
  • Ability to build bottom-up project schedules
  • Identify total float and critical path task sequences
  • Knowledge of EVM metrics
  • Ability to efficiently lead large meetings and handle stakeholders at all interpersonal levels
  • Verbal and Written communication and presentation skills
  • Manage multiple projects at once

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Master's Degree or 6 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of airline experience
  • Project Management Professional
  • Microsoft Project
